Arboreal creatures

Tree-dwelling versions of ordinary creatures, from animals to humanoids.


Creating A Arboreal creatures

"Arboreal" is a template that can be added to any animal, giant, humanoid, monstrous humanoid, or vermin that normally does not dwell in trees or has a Climb speed. An arboreal creature has all the base creature's characteristics except as noted here

Hit Dice: unchanged

Size: unchanged

Initiative: unchanged

Speed: gains a Climb speed that is equal to base speed + 10 feet.

AC: +2 Dex

Abilities: Dex +2, Wis +4

Skills: Skills: Arboreal creatures gain a +5 racial bonus on Climb checks. Arboreal creatures can always take 10 on Climb checks, even if rushed or threatened.

Feats: Feats: Arboreal creatures gain Athletic as a bonus feat.


CR: +1
