Having spent some time creating my first map I came to realise
it was a bit crap! So I started again. And this time It's going
to look good as well as playing well. (p.s. Thanks SOME and those
at NaliCity for their (sometimes) constructive comments.)
Some Useful Points:
1) I'm using Unreal to make the structure, even though it will
one day be a UT DOM map (hopefully). This is because its faster
to load.
2) I'm not worrying about textures/lighting/paths until the end
3) I'm learning the 2d lofter and the floor lofter, and they can
be very cool. I just wish I had something else as well.
4) When everyone says "Always F8", its probably OK just
to do the geometry, so untick "Auto BSP". This makes it
SO much faster.
3) I've put together a screenshot to indicate the way I'm going.
