27/Mar/2000 - Info Classes at last

Info classes reference is now available (in Word 97 format only at the moment). Lots of information about ZoneInfos and LevelInfo, but has descriptions for all class items.

N.B HTML Version how available here!

Enjoy :->

16/Mar/2000 - Back

We are back...and I'm 99% completed on the info classes. Look out for it later next week

I've posted the Unreal AI Guide and Unreal Tournament AI Guide from the Unreal Technologies web site in word format. They are a very good read for some of the more complicated things like different game types etc. See Editing or Downloads

29/Feb/2000 - Info Classes

Just to let you know that my Info classes reference is getting very near, and I think my NavPoint reference is much nearer now I have found the Unreal I AI guide on the technology web site (how could I have missed it!)

I've converted both AI guides to nice word format and should post them tomorrow.

Oh, and I've updated the links section

23/Feb/2000 - XML Class list
For those of you with IE 5.x follow this link here to a XML file containing the actor classes for you to browse. Others feel free to download it and make use of it as you will.

17/Feb/2000 - Oops

It appears I made the ultimate mistake of being non-Netscape compliant, something I had promised myself I would never do (SLAP). Tis all fixed now, apologies to anyone who was affected. Thanks to Hunt'n for telling me!

Also I have discovered the coolest mod ever! Holy Wars. absolutely brill, and even the bots play it right (which is a big bonus for lonely folks like myself!)

12/Feb/2000 - Just to update you all

I've been workin on my first model, as well as a couple of problems with kickers

Hopefully my model will be a buzz lightyear, so if anyone knows if its already been done then do let me know (I mean a Model, not just a skin!). Its slow process but I'm getting there.!

The problem with Kickers - bots seem to jump straight up and then land on the kicker again and then jump across even if the kicker is directional. Anyone know why... I'm workin on it

Also: Navigation point reference is taking longer than first antisipated. They are alot more complicated than I first thought, and I do want to get everything right. I may release a beta with only some of them done soon. ;-)

05/Feb/2000 - New Site Images

I've put some new site images up. Hope you like them...

Plus their is a new downloadz page for all the little things I've done so far.

04/Feb/2000 - Awesome 3D Tool

I've discovered the most awesome 3D tool, which could be used for creating player models, small decorations etc. It support every format under the sun, including Unreal, Half-life, Quake II/III, 3D Studio Max, Lightwave and much more.

Its called Milkshape 3D, and a new version 1.1.1 has just been released.
Go grap the shareware version here. Its only $20 to register and 400K to download!

Along the same lines, if anyone knows how the export meshes or models from Unreal then please get in touch. I've been told its not possible, but it must be somehow ;-).
