| 29/Dec/2000 - Merry Belated Christmas
and Happy Early New Year |
|
Hope you all had a good christmas, and for those of you in the
UK - Isn't the weather aweful, just took me 3 days to get home from
my in-laws, 2 days stuck in an airport etc... AWEFUL!
Just updated the unrealed 2 guide with a list of mapping commands
for entering into the log window or binding to keys etc. Meant to
upload them ages ago but completely forgot. Thanks to Andy Ford
for reminding me, don' forget his site has now moved over to planet
unreal, check it out HERE.
Anyone else out there who wants any help with the editor feel free
to email me, I'm trying to get email to me to outway my junk mail,
fruitless I know but you never know!

| 03/Nov/2000 - More on Deus-Ex Security |
| I've just completed a nother lovely section on Deus-Ex
security, as complete as I can get it. Hope you like it. Get it HERE |
| |
| 01/Nov/2000 - Deus-Ex + NavPoint Ref |
|
Long time no update... as I may have mentioned I've been off ill,
but enough about me..
1 - NavigationPoint class reference has been completed - view
it here
2 - I've done a complete Glass tutorial, right from "how to
make a glass window" throught to making breakable ones etc.
- view it here
3 - I've done a DeusEx Mover tutorial with example map on the new
and rather complex deus-ex mover. View the full Deus-Ex
section here, or jump straight to the tutorial
here.
I hope to do a load more Deus-Ex updates in the near future, although
my hope to add my voice to some tutorial maps has been thwarted
by some limitations in the current SDK. I've figured out how to
get My voice into the Tut map, but unfortuantely it completely ruins
your system by overwriting lots of lovely system files, like all
the text from the game...

| 28/Sep/2000 - Whassup.... |
|
Back from Holiday, go into hospital tomorrow (nothing too serious,
don't fret yourselves). Done some updates on various Unreal based
games that are starting to appear, i.e. Deus Ex and DS9. Check out
the sections above.
Hopefully when I'm at home recovering I'm going to get lots of
time to update my web site and finish of the class references etc.
Also going to be working on Deus Ex stuff, maybe a bit of a level
so I can help all you dudes out there (and dudettes of course!).
Also plan to finish Deus Ex and maybe give Star Trek Elite Force
and go as well...
Katch you later - \-Blacksway-\

| 04/Sep/2000 - Holidays, DS9 and Deus
Ex |
|
Yes, I'm going on holiday tomorrow, so no updates for 2 weeks or
more (boo-hoo), but I'm actually off work soon after that (I'm going
to be 'ill' - don't ask) and should get lots done on the site. So
if anyone has any ideas what they would like to see here then let
me know
\-Blacksway-\
I'm going to be providing information here hopefully on all the
Unreal-Engine based games I can get my hands on, the 2 main ones
so far being Deus Ex and DS9 The Fallen. DS9 has some wonderful
cut-scene creating technology in it, it will be good to see how
it compares to the Unreal Movie Studio over at Unframed
Productions. Deus Ex of course has the SDK to be released soon
and its conversation tree structure which should open up the possibility
for some really powerful SP creations.
Oh, and if anyone out there is wondering Deus Ex KICKS ASS! (and
the DS9 demo was piss easy to complete....we will see!)
p.s. Take a look at my first page of DS9 info HERE.
